Our new Individual Speed Zones feature allows coaches to set personalized speed thresholds based on each player's max speed. This means sprints, and high-intensity efforts are achieved based on an athlete's individual capability, relative data establishes better benchmarks, and good management of training load.
How Does It Work?
The Individual Speed Zones feature is accessible through the mobile app’s speed zones settings. Here’s how it will improve your coaching workflow:
- Custom Speed Zones: Set unique speed ranges for each athlete, either with fixed numbers or as a percentage of their top speed.
- Effortless Calculations: Enter an athlete’s max speed manually or let PlayerData calculate it for you, and watch speed zones update automatically as new personal bests are recorded.
- Update Past Data: You can choose to reprocess up to a year of historical data when speed zones are updated, maintaining data comparability.
When Will It Be Available?
We’ll be rolling out Individual Speed Zones this month. Simply ensure your app is up to date, and the feature will automatically become available after the update.
