Crystal Palace recently completed an extensive diligence process to decide the best GPS option for its women’s and academy programs. The club’s performance staff evaluated options based on a number of factors including accuracy, customisation, ease of use, turn around times, integration potential with technical and tactical data, user experience, and portability. The Premier League club decided on PlayerData.
“We’re excited to introduce PlayerData to our programs,” said Nick Davies, Head of Academy Performance at Crystal Palace Football Club. “First and foremost, we were drawn to the customisation capabilities and integrity of the data. It’s really easy to use with quick turnaround times and incredible support. This will be a powerful tool for our developing athletes. We’re very pleased with our decision.”
PlayerData began in grassroots football and has since grown into one of the UK’s fastest-rising sports tech startups. Being chosen by a club of Crystal Palace’s stature marks a significant milestone and highlights the company’s growing influence in elite performance environments
“We’ve worked incredibly hard to create the best product on the market,” said Roy Hotrabhvanon, Co-Founder and CEO of PlayerData. “It’s a great honor to know that our team’s work is valued by the likes of Crystal Palace, a world-renowned club.”
Clubs across the British football spectrum know the value of performance tracking. PlayerData continues to be recognized as a disruptor in the space.
